Manx National 2 Day Trials Event

Location: Isle of Man
Two of the biggest and best trials in Europe. Four days of off-road endeavour sandwiching a great road racing filling, whether watching, helping or competing this has the makings of a great biking holiday.
Manx Classic Weekend Trial
Date: 30th August, 2008 to 31st August, 2008
Location: Isle of Man
The Manx Classic Weekend Trial caters for a total of 180 riders, on 140 Pre-65 bikes and 40 Twinshocks and has been described by riders as the best of its type in Europe. Competitors travel from as far away as Australia, South Africa and Germany.
The route takes in some of the most spectacular scenery the island has to offer. With approximately 40 miles each day the Southern route on Saturday goes close to the magnificent coastal scenery at Cronk ny Arrey Laa, whilst the Northern route on Sunday explores the famous mountain region at Snaefell. The sections are spectator-friendly with most groups easily accessible.
VMCC Rally
Date: 23rd August, 2008 to 30th August, 2008
Location: Isle of Man
This popular Rally has evolved over 31 years to appeal to a wide cross section of VMCC members and overseas guests and boasts a winning mix of demonstration parades, ride outs, and social events. The bikes are not static museum pieces but a living, rolling cavalcade of motorcycle history spanning many decades. Most makes of machine are represented, from AJS to Velocette.
